Positano in placed on Amalfi Coastline - on the south of Italy and it is considered the PEARL OF THE COAST.
Closest airports to Positano:
Rome airports http://www.adr.it/ - from Rome you can reach by train Amalfi coast line by train http://www.ferroviedellostato.it/ or renting a car directly at the airport and taking the A1 MOTORWAY (GREEN PANELS) direction Naples - from Naples, follow the direction for COSTIERA AMALFITANA.
Naples airport http://www.portal.gesac.it/portal/page/portal/internet. From Naple you can take a train to Sorrento, rent a car or take a taxi.
In Positano it allowed to have Catholic & Civil Ceremonies.
As for Civil ceremonies, town hall is placed on a romantic balcony with view on the ocean.
Civil weddings are allowed in the following days:

On Monday & Thursday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday afternoon with town hall extra rental fees.
